Privacy
No profile or message database: Civic Bridge does not keep your message, name, address, phone number, email, or policy choices in a database or user profile. These details are held in memory only long enough to validate the request and complete or expire the short-lived official-origin browser session. They are sent to the selected offices and address services only as needed to perform the request; those services have their own privacy policies.
Official forms: your information is entered into the representatives' official contact forms, as if you had typed it there yourself. CAPTCHA or other human-verification state remains inside that same official browser session. Civic Bridge does not extract or relay CAPTCHA tokens.
Rate limiting: we keep a short-lived, in-memory count of requests per IP address to prevent abuse. These counters are not persisted and are cleared whenever the service restarts.
Autocomplete: when you type an address, the first characters are sent to OpenStreetMap's public Nominatim service (with the U.S. Census Bureau geocoder as a fallback) to suggest addresses. Recent suggestions are held briefly in memory to avoid repeating requests; nothing is written to disk.
Cookies & tracking: Civic Bridge does not use tracking cookies, advertising profiles, accounts, newsletters, or policy-preference tracking. The service may retain ordinary short-lived request metadata in infrastructure logs for security and operations, but not the contents of your message or form fields.
